The hallway reeked throughout the stay, and the sheets on one bed had a noticeable stain, leading me to sleep in the other bed. Overall, I did not feel comfortable during my time there.

The indoor pool provided a great chance to unwind after a long day of exploration. The breakfast setup offered many choices, and I appreciated the daily fresh fruit options. It reminded me of the Italian breakfasts I miss while traveling.
Check-in took longer than expected. The atmosphere felt chaotic with too many children running around unsupervised. At times, it was difficult to manage the noise from other guests.

Comfortable Beds, but Room for Improvement
Enjoyed the spacious double room with comfy beds. Breakfast options were disappointing, lacking variety. The staff helped with a late check-in issue but could improve communication regarding checkout policies. For a smooth stay, clarify any accessibility needs in advance.

While my experience had some ups and downs, I appreciated the compact room layout, especially for short trips. However, the lack of a microwave and the noise issues made it challenging. Also, customer service was a bit lacking when we had a few concerns. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

The modern vibe was great, but the room really rocked! The shower water was scalding hot, which I loved. Plus, a solid gym setup was a nice surprise.

Loved the cozy vibes!
We had such a nice time! Everything felt like home, the room was super comfy and honestly, I didn’t want to check out. Staff was beyond friendly. Just a hint though, the pool was closed, which was a bummer for us. The snack bar was cool too, had some great munchies!

Typical for an overnight stay, the rooms offer ample space, making it comfortable for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast selection included decent options that could have appealed to different tastes, even if it didn’t blow anyone away.
The chaos from unsupervised teenagers running rampant really killed the vibe, especially around the pool area. Rooms definitely need better sound insulation. could hear every move from above like they were practicing bowling or roller skating. The beds felt more like an empty spaceship than cozy resting spots, with squeaking boards that made sleeping a challenge. Oh, and unless you're a morning person, you might struggle with all that bright light streaming in at 5:30 AM. Blackout curtains urgently required for a solid snooze.

The hotel is fairly new and has a great location with ample parking. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly, recognizing my Hilton honors membership. I received two free bottles of water. The lobby had a relaxed vibe with many seating options and a snack area. My room was clean, cozy, and bright but on the smaller side. The beds were comfortable, and there was a good variety of pillows. The bathroom featured a spacious walk-in shower, and I loved the wall-mounted shampoo and soap dispensers. No more fighting with tiny bottles! However, I didn't get to try the breakfast as I slept in. One issue was the hidden entrance, right behind a Tropical Smoothie, which could easily be missed. A clearer sign would help. Overall, the hotel served its purpose well for my concert trip, and I'd consider staying with Tru again, especially if they improve the visibility of the entrance.

great for city strolls with nearby parks and dining options
The location allows for easy access to nearby parks and dining spots, making it perfect for weekend exploration where i could stroll around and enjoy the sights. it’s really just a short walk to great places to eat like gator jake's bar & grill and less than a 10-minute drive to the gm heritage center for a little history on my trip.
